I have been a teacher for 8 years. I taught in three different counties in Maryland (Washington, Frederick, Montgomery), two different subjects (Health and PE), at an elementary and middle school level. I currently hold my Masters Degree in Physical Education Teacher Education from West Virginia University. I enjoy teaching students how be active and having fun while being active. There is nothing more fulfilling than watching a student achieve something they have been working so hard towards.

Physical Education Teacher

I have been a PE teacher for five years. All five years have been here in Montgomery County! I studied Physical Education at The University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa and recently received my masters degree from Clemson University in Instructional Leadership. I enjoy teaching PE because it is important to learn how to be active and healthy at a young age and be able to continue living a healthy lifestyle as we grow older. Being able to watch kids grow from kindergarten to fifth grade is one of my many reasons I like being a specialist!
